Jim, part owner of Stockdale Financial group,  decided to pursue his second career as a Financial Advisor Representative and Broker Agent after a long, successful business career.  Jim had a personal and professional relationship with his predecessor Shawn Stockdale since 1994.  After working with Shawn for over 20 years building a successful plan to retire at age 55, events at Jim’s workplace accelerated his plan. He has been with Stockdale Financial Group & SagePoint Financial, Inc. since 2016. He has Series 6, 7. 63, & 65. He is licensed in 29 states.

Prior to becoming a member of the SFG team, Jim spent over twenty years of his professional career as an executive of The Weiler Corporation.  Jim led a professional staff who reached high levels of success running a multi-national business that employed over 500 employees in three countries.  Jim was responsible for Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Facilities.  As the Vice President of Global Operations, Jim was responsible for Weiler’s domestic and international operations in Cresco and Hamlin, PA; Worcester, MA; Suzhou, China; and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Jim is a graduate of The Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University, State University of New York, and Johnson College in Scranton.  Jim has completed several Executive Training Programs— The High Potential Global Leadership program, The Harvard Business School and state-of-the-art-manufacturing systems program, and The Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University.

Jim served as the President of the Board of Directors of the North-East Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center which aids local manufacturers to succeed in the manufacturing business in NEPA.  He also served on the President’s round table for Johnson college.  He has given countless hours as a volunteer in his community as a league officer and coach for several youth sports organizations and lead coordinator for the St. Thomas soup kitchen in Archbald, PA, in support of expanding meals for the needy and elderly in outlying areas.

Jim is a native and current resident of Archbald, PA, where he resides with his wife of over 30 years, Kathy.  They have three boys, Jimmy, Sean and Adam.
